Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan is a seasoned Surgical Oncologist with over 18 years of experience.
He has expertise in Gastrointestinal Oncology, Hepatopancreaticobiliary Oncology and Peritoneal Surface Malignancy, including HIPEC procedures.
He is also proficient in Radical Gastrectomy with D2 Dissection, Radical Cholecystectomy, Whipple’s Surgery, Distal pancreatosplenectomy and Hepatectomy.
He earned his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore, in 2008, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, in 2012.
In 2018, he completed an MCh in Surgical Oncology from Gujarat University, India.
Dr. Chauhan has further honed his skills in GI oncology and minimally invasive surgery through fellowships, including one under Prof. Marcus Buechler at Heidelberg (HPB oncology) and another under Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at the Indo-American Cancer Institute, Hyderabad (MIS).
He received the ESSO Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC, training under Prof. Olivier Glehen in Lyon, France.
Dr. Chauhan has authored numerous publications in prestigious medical journals.
He has actively presented his research at national and international conferences.
He is a member of various professional bodies, including Association of Breast Surgeons of India, European Society of Surgical Oncology, Society of Surgical Oncology, European Association of Hepatopancreatobiliary Oncology and Clinical Robotic Surgery Association.
