About Dr. A. S. Soin

Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin is one of India’s most renowned liver transplant surgeons and hepatobiliary specialists. He has over 30 years of experience in liver transplantation and complex liver surgeries. Dr. Soin is widely recognized for pioneering living donor liver transplantation in India and for establishing one of the largest liver transplant programs in the country.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine at Medanta – The Medicity. Throughout his career, he has performed thousands of successful liver transplants and complex hepatobiliary surgeries, helping patients from India and many other countries.

Dr. Soin is also actively involved in medical research, teaching, and global transplant programs, and his work has significantly advanced liver transplantation in India. For his outstanding contribution to medicine, he was honored with the **Padma Shri by the Government of India.
