Medical Visa from Cameroon to India

  

Visa Requirements

Cameroonian nationals must secure a medical visa before traveling to India for healthcare services. There are two options available based on your treatment duration and urgency:

  • Regular Medical Visa: Issued by the High Commission of India in Yaoundé, suitable for longer or more complex medical treatments.
  • e-Medical Visa: Can be obtained online and is ideal for short-term medical visits.

Visa Invitation

A Medical Invitation Letter from a recognized Indian hospital is mandatory for both Regular and e-Medical Visa applications.

Eligible for E Visa

Cameroon is among the countries eligible for India’s e-Medical Visa facility, making it easy to apply without visiting the embassy.

E Visa Fees

Regular Visa Fees
  • Regular Medical Visa: USD 100
  • Medical Attendant Visa: USD 100

Visa Duration
  • e-Medical Visa: Valid for 60 days from your date of arrival in India. Allows three entries within the 60-day window.

  • Regular Medical Visa: Generally valid for up to 6 months or for the full course of treatment. An extension of up to another 6 months is possible through India’s FRRO/FRO office, depending on the patient’s condition and doctor’s recommendation.

E Visa Application

Required documents: Personal details, passport copy, recent photograph, and hospital invitation letter.

After paying the visa fee, the approved visa is emailed. It is valid for up to 6 months.
