Dr. Anant Kumar is one of the well-known Urologist and Kidney Transplant Surgeon in Delhi NCR.
He has over 44 years of experience in this field.
His expertise lies in Kidney Transplantation, Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Urology, Reno vascular Hypertension, Laparoscopic Urology, Urological Oncology, Laser Urological Surgery and Reconstructive Urology.
Over his career, he has performed more than 500 robotic surgeries in the last 5 years and over 3500 kidney transplants in the last 30 years, with over 2200 lap donor nephrectomies.
Dr. Kumar has extensive experience in laser prostate surgeries, using Thulium, Greenlight, and Holmium lasers, currently performing HOLEP procedures.
He is proficient in reconstructive urology, having performed over 700 urethral stricture surgeries and specializes in laparoscopic urological procedures such as radical prostatectomy, cystectomy, and partial nephrectomy.
For the past 6 years, he has been performing robotic-assisted urological surgeries for prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers, along with complex urological reconstructions such as pyeloplasty and ureteric reimplantation.
Dr. Kumar completed his MBBS from King George Medical University, Lucknow, India and MS in General Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh India.
After this, he completed his MCh in Urology from PGIMER, Chandigarh India.
