Medical Visa from Nigeria to India

Visa Requirements

Visa is mandatory for all Nigerian passport holders (ordinary, official, and diplomatic) traveling to India for medical purposes.

Nigerian patients can apply for either a Regular Medical Visa through the Indian High Commission or an e-Medical Visa online.

A medical invitation letter from a recognized Indian hospital is compulsory for both visa types.

Visa Invitation

A dedicated Case Manager from Al afiya Mredi Tour coordinates with the treating hospital in India.
The Case Manager assists in arranging and sharing the Visa Invitation Letter required for the visa application process.

Yes, Nigeria citizens are eligible to apply for medical treatment in India.

Remarks

The visa is generally valid for a maximum of one year, or the period required for the treatment, whichever comes first. Extension may be granted up to 6 months on case to case basis on merits of each case by the FRRO/ FRO concerned.

https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/Registration .  Patients can apply for an Indian e-Medical Visa online by submitting personal details, passport copy, photo, and hospital invitation. After paying the fee, the approved visa is emailed and valid for 6 months
