His areas of specialization including Intracranial Brain Tumour Surgery, Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, General Brain Surgery, Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Surgery, Image-Guided Neurosurgery, Peripheral Nerve Surgery, and Brachial Plexus Surgery.
Dr. Vaishya completed his MBBS in 1988 and MS in General Surgery in 1991 from G R Medical College, Gwalior.
In 1996, he obtained his MCh in Neurosurgery from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
He received advanced training through the Sundt Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, USA.
He is globally recognized for his expertise in treating brachial plexus injuries and is a leading surgeon for Gamma Knife Surgery in South Asia.
His treatment of hydrocephalus was highlighted in the Netflix documentary “Rooting for Roona.”
